Position: Interior Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior Designer for a prestigious development project located in Cyprus and Bulgaria. The project consists of 174 residential units, including ateliers, studios, and 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in designing residential spaces with an emphasis on innovative, functional, and aesthetically striking interiors. We are looking for a professional who can collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders to deliver exceptional designs that align with the project’s high standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive interior design concepts for various types of residential units, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic throughout the development.
  • Provide detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D visualizations to communicate design intent effectively.
    Select materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings that reflect the project’s vision while maintaining budget and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of design concepts with structural and technical aspects.
  • Oversee the implementation of design plans, from procurement to installation, ensuring that all elements are executed to the highest standards.
  • Manage and coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and furnishings within the specified project timeline.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure designs are being implemented correctly, resolving any issues that arise.
  • Ensure that interior design meets local building codes, regulations, and sustainability requirements.
  • Develop design presentations for stakeholders and clients, incorporating feedback and revisions as necessary.
  • Provide expert guidance on lighting design, space planning, colour schemes, and custom furniture solutions.
  • Manage budgets and schedules, ensuring that all design elements are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Lead and mentor junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in interior design for residential projects, with a strong portfolio of completed works.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.).
  • A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and functionality.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of current design trends and material innovations.
  • A degree in Interior Design or a related field.
